I absolutely loved and highly recommend Astra Bridal for all future brides looking for a dress. I had been to other bridal dress stores around Auckland, and none of them were as approachable, friendly, and down to earth as Astra Bridal. They also made things really easy; for example, they allow you to create an account on their website, make a wishlist, and they then follow up with a Style & Design BEFORE you go in to try on the dresses. This made the appointment so easy, stress free, and timely. They also had great resources on their website, which showed they really cared about your whole experience and you as a person. I had Lara as my stylist, and she was really lovely and kind - she made me feel great. She was understanding of the things I liked and didn't like and really worked with me to get into a dress I wanted. Astra also offers a lot of customisation options, which is so awesome, and they have dresses at very affordable prices. The shop is also a dream!!! What a whirlwind! Massive thanks to both Lara & Sarah for their help in finding THE DRESS! Lara was super helpful at our fitting - very respectful, good banter, and knows her stuff. I walked into the day not overly confident in myself, as I had no idea what I wanted (I'm not a dress girly). But with some suggestions and real life advice, they found me my dream dress. Not something I would have naturally gone to look for myself, but definitely is the right one for me! I felt like a princess. Very very happy! I'm super stoked to find a dress that makes me feel "myself" and I wouldn't have been able to do that without these ladies. The store is also a great location, with easy parking, and a great interior fitout! Loved every second.
